The Conference takes place at Chester Racecourse on 24th and 25th October 2019.
Chester Racecourse was established in 1539, and is the oldest racecourse still in operation in Great Britain, if not the world. During the Roman occupation of Britain, most of the modern 65-acre site of Chester Racecourse was not even dry land. In fact, it was an important harbour on the river Dee, which supplied the Roman garrison of Deva, (now the city centre section of modern day Chester), and for those interested in ancient history, some of the anchor stones used at the Roman port can still be observed at the current racecourse site.
Today, it is unrivalled as a Cheshire conference venue, boasting 35 separate facilities, accommodating anything from two to 2,000 people, Large or small; formal or casual; a board meeting or large-scale conference; the business facilities at Chester Racecourse are just a stone’s throw from the City centre with excellent transport links to the rest of Cheshire, the North West and London and parking for 600 cars.
